Sharp and T-Mobile released the next member of the Sidekick family, the Sidekick 2008. This GSM gem looks like what you might expect a Sidekick look like. Same swivel-out screen… same basic layout, but crammed into a smaller, lighter body. It features a 2 megapixel camera with video capture, stereo bluetooth, expandable Micro SD slot, and a full qwerty keypad. And for all of you who feel the need to challenge the social norm, you can change the Sidekick’s face with your own custom cover…
Speaking of custom covers… I wonder how long it will be ’till Paris and Lindsey get their new sparkly Sidekicks… hmm….
The Sidekick’s battery is O.K. Sharp says it will give you 5hrs of talk time, or 4 days on standby.
